Menopause is a naturally occurring event in a woman’s life, for which many treatment options are available. Knowing which treatment options are available, proven integrative approaches, and ways to develop an individualized approach are key to treating menopause and reducing risks. Being at the forefront of understanding the menopausal transition and treatment options is important in caring for women throughout their lives. This digital seminar will help you better understand the hormone cascade, and how hormones change during menopause. It will also provide you with various treatment options for your patients utilizing pharmaceuticals and supplements.

Deidre Arms, MSN, APRN, CNP, is a dedicated functional medicine nurse practitioner with a passion for holistic health and wellness. Deidre sees patients who want to deeply explore causes of imbalanced female hormones, menopausal symptoms, poor sleep, chronic fatigue, obesity, autoimmune disorders and so much more through personalized tools, individualized testing, education and lifestyle modification. Outside of her professional pursuits, Deidre works with Ohio AANP as a chapter lead and educates graduate students as an adjunct faculty member at Otterbein University.
