There are issues that effect EVERYONE's practice!!! Please come to be updated!!

SMART Recovery (SR) is an EVIDENCED BASED PRACTICE approach to help those with dependency struggles with substances and/or acitivities. SR is a secular, non-12 step approach to recovery, which many mental health providers are utilizing, however, Columbia, Mo, does not have any meetings/support groups for substance abusers nor do their Friends & Families. HELP will be needed with referrals!

SR Meetings will begin Mid-February, the time/place to be determined. (if you know of somewhere that can offer space on a weekly basis during the evening, please let me know).

http://www.SMARTRecovery.org   for more information.

Presentation with be provided will be an overy view of the evidence and theories utilized by the SMART Recovery approach. (REBT, CBT, MI, Prochaska)  and if you're unfamiliar with these, come learn!!)
